Bookings

The Church and Community Hall can be booked for regular or special events. Both spaces are fully accessible with ramps and toilets for disabled people. There is  a level carpark and a bus stop opposite the church. Wi-Fi is available in both buildings.

Baby change facilities, highchairs and some toys are available. Parties can be booked in the Community Hall at weekends on Saturdays and Sunday afternoons. Children’s birthday parties are popular with plenty of space for the children to play games.

Terms and Conditions for Hiring the Community Hall for a single event

            Minimum booking of 3 hours for £50, then £20 for each additional hour.*

This needs to include setting up and clearing up time and includes heating and the use of the kitchen and some equipment.

Full payment to be made when booking, preferably by bank transfer.

            Rates £20 an hour* – this needs to include setting up and clearing up time. This     includes heating and the use of the kitchen and some equipment. Full payment to be made to secure the booking preferably by bank transfer.

* Bookings for weekly events is also available at a reduced rate. Minimum booking time for regular events is 1.5 hours during the day, and 2.0 hours in the evening.

Please note that:

  • 80 people is the maximum number for the Community Hall and 120 for the Church (determined by fire regulations)
  • Neither hall is available to hire before 1 PM on Sundays.
  • There is no telephone on the premises; it is recommended that you bring a mobile phone with you.
  • Noise levels should not be excessive, there are neighbours close by.
  • Bouncy Castles and similar large inflatables are not permitted on the site
  • Alcohol can be brought in and consumed on the premises but the venue does not have a licence for the sale of alcohol. Sale of alcohol will therefore require the seller to have their own suitable licence.
